24 Jun Stem Cells for Spondylolesthesis. Instability of the lumbar spine treated with Platelet Rich Plasma & Stem Cells
This was a story of a PRP treatment for Spondylolesthesis or when the 4th or 5th lumbar vertibrea slips forward which is caused by instability of the ligaments and or a fracture in the bone called the pars. This allows for the spine to move and cause back pain and in some cases trauma to the nerves going into the hips and legs. After 1 treatment this condition can be greatly improved as the PRP or Platelet Rich Plasma draws stem cells to the area to heal and strengthen the supporting structures of the spine where the damage is. In some cases we have used a combination of stem cells from isolated from the fat around the belly mixed with growth factors from the blood (PRP) which has an even stronger stabilizing effect on the spine.
This is a way for you to avoid painful surgery. Stem Cell Therapy is minimally invasive and little to no down time needed.
